Carlos & Sandra: Wedding Day Photography At Royal Ashburn Golf Club, Whitby

Sometime last year, we shot the engagement pictures for Carlos and Sandra at Royal Ashburn Golf Club during Winter and shared it on our blog. We had the privilege of shooting their wedding day at the same location on June 16, 2018.

This wedding celebration was phenomenal and a Salvadoran-Polish wedding. There was an infusion of culture and language. We must also confess that these two are in love and we thoroughly enjoyed documenting their wedding day.

From our first client meeting with the couple, we could sense that they are a match made in heaven and so romantic! It wasn’t any different on their wedding day. We started off at the hair salon located at Axxess Hair Design and spent some time photographing the bride, her maid of honor, her mother and aunt.

After this, we moved to the bride’s house for makeup and dress up shots. These included some of her family members and of course, her mum! We truly love capturing the ‘getting ready’ shots of the bride and groom because we believe that these photos tell the story of everything that leads up to the wedding ceremony and reception.

Once done, we went over to the groom’s location to capture his preparation photos. He also had his family members present and we were happy to take candid photos as well as portraits.

Then we all headed to the wedding venue which was Royal Ashburn Golf Club — the ceremony and reception were held at this location. The wedding ceremony was held at the Cedars Garden while the cocktail and reception took place at The Ashburn Room.

Allen and I had a splendid time with this amazing couple. Their wedding day was indeed beautiful and filled with love, we truly enjoyed spending our time with them capturing their love and most eventful day. We wish them a beautiful married life together and appreciate them for trusting us. We are also happy that they love their wedding photos.
